Holztrophy

The Holztrophy (‘Wooden Cup’) is a competition for middle schools in South Tyrol which is designed to fit in with the technology curriculum of the province. Over the course of a whole school year a project in wood is undertaken based on the current year’s theme. This year’s topic is “Relax after School”. The school pupils will realize their proposed project in collaboration with a South Tyrol carpentry workshop; they will experience the different phases of the project at first hand and can give free reign to their creativity. In addition they will also gain a first insight into the world of craftsmanship and its many career opportunities.
