Through the qualitatively high value working and processing of the raw material wood and the intelligent ideas and solutions of our entrepreneurs, the forest-wood sector is one of the most important strengths of South Tyrol. This superior expertise places South Tyrol enterprises internationally at the highest level when it comes to quality processing and product development in trade and industry. Our sector generates an annual production value of around 1.5 billion euros.

Knowledge put into practice

Expertise does not just mean having the latest machinery and innovative technology, but is all about the knowledge of the people involved. In the menu item “Stories” you are introduced to the people who hide behind these successful enterprises.
